The Polycrete system consists of modular, concrete forms made of two rows of high density expanded-polystyrene Type 3 panels connected with steel ties of different lengths. Reinforcing steel is attached to these steel ties. The panels have a grooved edge along the bottom surface and a T shaped polymer profile along the top surface to facilitate their stacking and to provide a tight joint between consecutive panels.
